Opening large drawing sets
Structural and architectural drawings often come as 150–300MB PDF packages. TorReader PDF's memory-mapped file access means these open in 1–3 seconds and use minimal RAM — you can keep multiple drawing sets open in tabs without slowing down your machine.
Navigating with the bookmark panel
Well-structured drawing PDFs include a bookmark tree (A-series, B-series, structural, etc.). Click any bookmark in TorReader PDF's sidebar to jump directly to that sheet. The bookmark panel stays in sync as you scroll.
Continuous scroll for long documents
Switch to Continuous Scroll mode to view all sheets as one long vertical stream — the same way you'd scroll through a webpage. Useful for spec documents and reports where you need to read sequentially. Ctrl+Scroll to zoom in/out without losing your position.
Assembling a project submission
When submitting to a client or authority, you often need to combine drawings, specs, and reports into one PDF. Use Merge PDF in TorReader PDF — drag files into the order you need, click Merge. Bookmarks from each document are preserved.
Extracting a section for a subcontractor
A subcontractor only needs their relevant sheets. Select those pages in the thumbnail panel and extract them to a new file. The bookmark entries for those sheets are preserved in the output.
